Choose opponents of your level and not much better players. Once you have enough experience you can choose a higher level.

Observe and study the other players. Especially when you are not in the game it's good to see what other players are doing. Learn from the action of the other players.

Only play when you are in a good mood and not when you had a bad day. You will never play your best poker and you need a good concentration to play good poker.

Don't play in the same style everytime. It's good to be unpredictable and adjust your style and speed. Show that you can play different hands and that you are good in bluffing.

Take advantage of your position. The best position is the Dealer button, so then it's your change to win the round.
