Below you will find the different card combination you can have with poker, from the higest value to the lowest. The Ace is the highest card followed by the King, Queen and 10 ending at 2. In Texas Hold'em and Omaha it's possible that two or more player shave the same winning combination. We have explained per hand what will happen in this situation. In all the games the winner is always the player with the best 5 cards. In case two or more players have exactly the same winning combination the pot will be divided over those players.

Royal Flush
The best hand you can get in poker is the Royal Flush. The 5 highest cards, Ace until 10 from the same suit. It's basically the same as a Straight Flush but with the Ace as highest card. When more players have a Royal Flush the pot will be divided. In poker we don't look at the colour.

Straight Flush
Any five card sequence in the same suit. On this picture you see a Straight Flush to the 5. The Ace counts here as 1. The lowest Straight Flush is A-2-3-4-5 and the highest is the Royal Flush. When more players have a Straight Flush, the player with the highest high card wins the hand.

Four of a Kind
Four cards of the same value. The lowest value is 4 cards of 2 value and the highest 4 Jacks. When more players have a four of a kind, the player with the highest combination wins the hand. If the four of a kind value is equal than the highest fifth card decides the winner.
Full House
Three of a kind with a pair. For example 3 cards of 7 value (three of a kind) plus two cards of 3 value (a pair). To decide the winner with two or more players who have a full house we first look at the three of a kind and after at the pair.
Flush
Five different cards from the same suit. In this example you see a Flush Queen high. When more players have a flush, the player with the highest high card wins the hand. If this is equal than we look at the second highest card, etc.
Straight
Five card sequence of different suite. In our example you see a straight 'till the ten'. The Ace also counts for one. The lowest straight is A-1-2-3-4, the highest is 10-J-Q-K-A. When more players have a straight, the player with the highest card wins the hand.
Three of a Kind
Three cards of the same value. The lowest value is 3 cards of 2 value and the highest is 3 Aces. In this example you see a Three of a kind with Fours. When more players have a three of a kind, the player with the highest combination wins the hand. If this is equal than we look at the fourth card and after that at the fifth card.
Two pairs
Two times two cards of the same value. The lowest two pairs is two cards of two value and the highest is two Aces. When more players have a pair, the player with the highest pair wins the hand. If this is equal than we look at the second pair. If this is also equal we look at the fifth card.
One pair
Two cards of the same value. The lowest pair is two cards of two value and the highest is two Aces. When more players have a pair, the player with the highest pair wins the hand. if this is equal than we look at the highest third card (seven in this example). If this is also equal we look at the highest fourth or fifth card.
High card
Five cards with no combination. The lowest is 2-3-4-5-7 and the highest is 9-J-Q-K-A. When more players have no pair, the player with the highest high card wins the hand. If this is equal than we look at the second, thirth, fourth or fifth.
